Bui Porntip Nakhirunkanok Simon, former Miss Universe from Thailand and President of Angels Wings Foundation, has always emphasized her passion for helping those underprivileged- especially children. Her love for her county’s disadvantaged youth has been prevalent even prior to her becoming Miss Universe.
Just a few days ago, Bui made her routine return to Thailand to attend a Mother’s Day Celebration. Joining her was Mr. Piyapatchra Suban, Director of Satellite Television for the King’s celebration. Bui accompanied 100 orphans from Ban Rachvitee and Ban Mahamek for a field trip to the Military Aviation Museum (Donmunang) to view vintage fighter and transport aircrafts. Ending their tour, Bui escorted the children to dinner where she personally served them a special feast
It is reported that Bui brought the children here at their request. When given the choice, the children chose the Air Museum over an amusement park. Apparently, seeing a real airplane up close has been a personal dream of theirs and Bui was so excited to make their wish come true.
Bui also brought several thousands of educational toys shipped from Hong Kong for the children along with a check to Ban Rachvitee and Ban Mahamek Orphanages. To reward Bui’s great efforts and merits, we wish her everlastingly beauty.
